The Post Office Sucks!

Okay, so I bought Phil a present on ebay, which I won't tell what it is, since he reads my blog. Anyway, it arrived last Friday afternoon and I received a notice in our PO box that I had a package. I went in on Monday to get it and guess what? They can't find it. They took a copy of the notice and my telephone number, but didn't call. On Wednesday I went back and they have no freaking clue where my package magically disappeared to. I know it's at the post office, but I can't have it because they lost it.

The reasons this makes me so mad:
1) When Phil was in Kuwait I sent him something and it never arrived. I never even got a "lost package" slip back in the mail.
2) I was selling some books to textbook wheel and it also got lost in the mail...and subsequently cost me $300.
3) The postal carrier at our old house put a registered letter in our mailbox along with the slip saying "You have a registered letter."

All I can say is that they are the biggest bunch of idiots I've encountered lately. I want my damn package. I don't think it's fair that all the cool stuff I buy my husband mysteriously vanishes from the federal postal system.
