School and Work and Home and School

So, I'm feeling rather stressed lately, almost to the point of burnout. I am taking 13 credit hours, but one of my classes entails a lot of work and I keep getting overwhelmed. It's a senior level English class and I'm afraid my writing isn't up to par. I've never taken advanced English courses and I'm not doing as well as I'd like. Plus, I work in the evenings, which is fine because my job lets me do my homework, but I have to go to bed pretty early and I'm feeling like I don't have any time to relax. Next week I have another paper due and I haven't started working on it, nor have I read a bunch of the things pertaining to it. This weekend I need to start packing to move out of the house, but I also have lots of homework to do.

Phil is gone to Camp Williams for the next week and a half, so he won't be able to help me pack, but since he's gone this weekend I will be able to stay home and get my homework finished and hopefully some packing. It's hard to pack too because we won't be leaving for a couple of weeks and I hate packing stuff I might need at some point between now and then. Plus I'm not exactly sure what day we'll be leaving, as the house (both ours and the new one) will need to be cleaned between when we move out and they move in and we move into the new place (if that makes any sense).

I just need a break, a few days off where I don't have to think about school work, packing, or the mountains of stuff I still need to get finished. Fortunately, with the packing, a lot of the stuff can just stay in drawers and in shelves and we'll wrap them up and take them whole. I bought some boxes and we've filled up a few of them. I'm going to just put the clothes from our closet in laundry baskets and throw them in the truck. Plus we can use our suitcases for our personal items that we'll need easy access to. I think I'll have time to decorate and finish unpacking over spring break, which will be nice. We do need to paint the house after we move in, so that will be easier to do if the stuff is still in boxes. I'm thinking I'll just hire someone to come and paint. I hate doing it and I'm terrible and make big messes.

Anyway, just thought you'd all like to know what I was up to and why I haven't posted, but now you know. Have fun kids!!

i hate moving, so i completely get where the stress is coming from - it is especially hard in the middle of the school year ... sorry things are so stressful - hang in there - nothing lasts forever...
